Society Activities
Holy Mass
For Catholics, the greatest form of the worship is the Mass and as students we make sure the Holy Mass is a key part of our student life.
Lunch Time Meetings
These are without doubt the Society’s main activity on campus grounds. Every week day during the lunch time period, the society’s members meet on campus in Room FD17 of the Chemical Engineering building. A variety of activities are slotted in within the 45 minute period ranging from discussions on various topics, Quiz sessions and a wide array of Faith formation activities.
Charity Initiatives
The Gospel teaches us to look out for those less fortunate than us and as a society we try as much as we can to assist our fellows in need.
Pilgrimages
As part of the St Arnold Janssen Student Centre, once a year we embark on our Traditional Pilgrimage to Old Bulawayo. It is there that the first Eucharist was celebrated in Matebeleland.
Outings
Social outings help to create a stronger bond among members of the Society as they get to know one another better. As a society we aim too have as many outings as possible so long resources as well as time permit.
