The heart of Nust Catholic Society from the moment of its conception several years ago has always been the On Campus Lunch Time Meetings. The meetings over the years have provided Society Members with a convergence platform where they could interact constructively with one another and in the process encourage one another in our journey of Faith.

But the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic and the ensuring lockdown restrictions meant that it would now no longer be possible to hold the meetings due to their physical nature as well as geographical discrepancies among society members.

This then meant that in order for communion to still exist amongst society members, the Society had to adopt a new normal with regards to its activities. This then begs the question as to the nature of the measures as well as innovations put in place by the Society and the extent to which this measures have been successful

In order to answer these looming questions i invite you to the first issue of the Nust Catholic Society Magazine. The magazine chronicles the journey of the society during this current period as well as an analysis on how effective the new normal innovations by the Society have been.

Highlighted also are messages from some Society Alumni outlining how being part of the Society made their journey at Nust more worthwhile, as well as encouragement messages from some Society Members.
